The Life of Shorebirds

Saturday, September 8 at 1 pm, across from the Keag Store at the Wessaweskeag Historical Society (and Library) building in South Thomaston:
Lindsay Tudor, wildlife biologist with Maine’s Dept. of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife, will describe the life of shorebirds, their place in the Maine coast, and their migration habits. The highlight will be a field trip to the new trail and observation platform in the R. Waldo Tyler Wildlife Management Area on Buttermilk Lane. Bring binoculars. And maybe boots… Great time to see migrating birds. FMI: Vivian Newman (207) 691-2120
