Public Hearing on Zoning Changes in St. George Maine

Tuesday, November 13 at 7 pm, at the Town Office: Public Hearing on the proposal
to change zoning on several waterfront properties in Tenants Harbor and Port Clyde from the current Commercial Fisheries/ Maritime Activities to Limited Commercial. Specific information on the properties to be affected is available from the town office. Specific information on the allowable uses in both of these districts in found in the Shoreland Zoning Ordinance, Section 13 p. 10 and Section 14 p. 12. The Ordinance is on www.stgeorgemaine.com under Documents. This subject apparently came up at the Planning Board Meeting on October 23 in relation to changes requested for the East
Wind by the new owner. Those minutes are not yet available on the town website since
they have not been approved by the PB.
